After her release, Spears quietly resumed her career, appearing on television shows as a guest star and working on her sixth album, Circus, which was released in November 2008. Is there a better word than circus to describe her life? With a crack of her whip, the singer was able to embark on a tour to promote the album, and she made something of a comeback. The question on everyone’s mind, however, was whether it would last.

She Did It Again
Britney (oops!) did it again in 2009 when she began dating Jason Trawick, her current agent. Because he was ten years her senior, people were concerned. After all of the drama with Sam Lufti and her parents, the relationship raised some eyebrows, but he made it clear that he would no longer be her agent to avoid any potential conflicts of interest. Behind the scenes, however, things became far more difficult. At one point, Trawick worked as a conservator for her assets alongside her father. The couple married in 2011 but divorced in 2013, citing a desire for different things in life. Despite the fact that Jason appeared to be one of the few people who had Britney’s best interests at heart, Britney’s father removed him as conservator.
