“Marianne,” a French horror series, has also been canceled by Netflix. The show aired for one season of eight episodes. On Instagram, director Samuel Bodin confirmed the cancellation, writing, “There won’t be a second season for MARIANNE. We are very sorry and sad about that. But we will see you in other stories.”

“Osmosis” premiered in March 2019, a full year before Netflix announced it would be canceled after one season. The French science fiction series follows a group of single people who sign up for a new dating app that uses brain data to match them with their soulmates. The show was only eight episodes long.
