However, because of his next-door neighbor’s antics, he had to abandon his hobby and was unable to visit his garden as frequently as he would have wanted. For a long time, the relationship between David and his neighbors has been hostile; in fact, the topic of their feud has lasted for generations! David attempted to be civil and speak to them as a good person on several occasions, but they did something terrible, and David knew he had to intervene. The gravel pathway on his property’s side was a point of conflict.

During the course of the year, small potholes would emerge on the road. David was always worried that someone would be wounded or involved in an accident, so he took care of it out of kindness. On the other side, David’s neighbors would be too blind to recognize or appreciate what he was doing for the neighborhood. Instead, they planned to use asphalt to replace all of the gravel.
