If you’ve seen any of Brad Pitt’s flicks closely, you’ll notice an interesting pattern. Pitt is frequently seen munching on screen, which isn’t always intentional! It’s most obvious when you see him as Rusty Ryan in the Ocean’s Eleven franchise; unless he’s carrying out a really complex heist, the man is either holding or eating food. As an actor, Pitt makes the “choice” to eat on-screen, possibly to soothe his nerves or to lend another layer of humanity to his characters. In any case, Pitt’s signature move is to eat a snack on camera.

There are no established Hollywood ties or preferential treatment (except for the kind that comes with nearly-obscene stunning looks, which can’t be helped). Tenacity, humility, and hard effort will get you far in life, and Brad Pitt has most likely seen these values demonstrated throughout his life. It’s likely that his family ingrained those beliefs in him. His mother was a high school counselor, while his father ran a trucking firm. Both his mother and father understood the value of establishing objectives, working hard, and not becoming overly comfortable when you succeed.
