David Bowie – $100 million
Greatest Hits: Changes, Space Oddity, Modern Love
David Bowie has sold more than 140 million albums globally, earning ten Platinum certifications for many hit songs. He was renowned for his visual presentation and re-engineering in a simple format. Ziggy Stardust, an androgynous, brazen musical legend, is an alter ego. Bowie, born in South London, began studying art and music when he was very young. He started his music career in 1983, releasing Space Oddity. Before his premature death at the age of sixty-two, he married the supermodel Iman. He’s already a glam rock singer and an iconic rock artist.
