The floating stadium, ladies and gentlemen, is unique to Singapore. It took nearly a year to construct and was only intended to be a temporary replacement while the main sports courts were being repaired. The floating stadium, rather than fulfilling a temporary purpose, continues to hold concerts and events to this day.
