“Master of None” is returning to Netflix after a four-year hiatus. According to Deadline, the streaming service has renewed Aziz Ansari’s comedy for a third season, which will premiere in May. On April 21, Netflix quietly announced the upcoming launch in a tweet. During the show’s four-year hiatus from the airwaves, Ansari was accused of sexual assault. According to Variety, the new season will focus on Lena Waithe’s supporting character, Denise, rather than Ansari’s protagonist, Dev Shah.
