She knew that he was probably going to be late home again and that she would probably be unable to get through to him. However, the matter needed to be discussed. She decided to postpone the discussion until the next day, when she would be more equipped to confront the matter directly. She had no idea, though, that he would blow out.

Before the sun had fully risen, Megan was already awake. Whispering a filling breakfast for her partner, she crept about the kitchen. With the work she was doing, maybe he would see the best of his life. He yawned and stretched his arms as he came out of the bedroom around ten in the morning. He smiled as he sat down at the table, looking forward to the food that was waiting for him.
