They would chastise him for his performance at work. Even though the gravel was for everyone, no one offered to help. It’s as though they’ve never considered the possibility.

David gave up a square meter of his own land and added it to the gravel to prevent any accidents and to keep his land from being destroyed, which we haven’t discussed yet. David wished for everyone to be happy and safe, even though not everyone would have done it. He tried everything he could to work out a deal with his neighbors, but it was fruitless.
