Another way for stars to gain their start in TV and movies is through ads or modeling. There “are no small roles” since modeling and advertising are a simple method for a potential star to become more famous, as well as to line their coffers as they wait to break into bigger roles. Brad also took this way. Aside from the student gig in which he posed for his college calendar, he starred in a 1989 Pringles TV commercial at the age of twenty-six. Honestly, given his appearance, it’s surprised no one has offered him any modeling opportunities previously.

Actor Billy Baldwin may have contributed to Brad Pitt’s rise to prominence in Hollywood. How, you could ask. Baldwin was originally cast as “JD” in the legendary film “Thelma and Louise.” That was Brad Pitt’s breakout performance! Can you fathom it done by anyone other than him? Yes, neither can we. But we are digressing. Anyway, Baldwin left the project to pursue a more desirable role in Ron Howard’s “Backdraft”. Pitt then went forward to play the character that would have everyone wondering who he was.
