When it comes to marketing themselves, celebrities frequently use a name other than their given name. When they believe their name does not sound glamorous enough (or when their agents do), they fill out forms to get it altered. This is how Norma Jeane Mortenson became Marilyn Monroe. Brad Pitt’s real name is William Bradley Pitt, which may surprise some (though die-hard admirers are already aware). Pitt was named after his father, thus his name should be William Pitt, or you could just call him “Bill”. However, Bill Pitt does not have the same Hollywood ring to it.

At Clooney’s Expense
Good friends can have a laugh or two, occasionally at each other’s expense. Brad Pitt and George Clooney have collaborated on several projects since 2001 and have become close friends over the years. It appears that co-starring in three films from the “Ocean’s 11” franchise will do that to you. One of their favorite activities together appears to be pranking or making fun of one another (well, to each their own). Brad has even taken some silly tabloid claims about Clooney and used them to mock the actor, who has no trouble laughing at himself.
