This dog spotted something he desperately wanted to sniff. He set his sights on the prize and dashed off. Unfortunately, he reached a speed that his furry little legs couldn’t keep up with, and the doggy collapsed. This image genuinely makes us very sad. We are huge dog (and any animal) fans, and we feel bad for the puppy! We hope his owner picked him up and then lavished him with rubs and treats.

We’re not sure if this cat has superpowers or if he’s one of the few cats with opposable thumbs who can properly operate a camera, but we don’t care! This is one of the best images ever taken. It’s not just the fact that it appears that this cat took the photo; it’s also the fact that all of the animals are facing the camera! They must have been captivated by the drone that took this photograph. Meow!
