Frank’s record was spotless, yet the way people spoke about him—and his own unsettling demeanor—didn’t sit right with me. It didn’t add up. Insight into their finances might reveal underlying stress or pressures that could explain their behavior—and perhaps even lead back to Susan’s disappearance.
