Max’s enthusiasm takes over
Max paced back and forth, his eyes shining like stars. “Look, he’s ready to go,” laughed John, watching Max’s tail wag like a propeller. “Looks like he’s already solved a case,” added Jake, smiling. We gathered around, infected by the dog’s enthusiasm, and soon we were all buzzing, eager to find out what was waiting for us. Max stood by the gate, as if to declare: “It’s adventure time!”, and we were ready to follow him on this exciting journey.

Digging with determination
We grabbed shovels and followed Max to his favorite spot. “Here we go,” said João, plunging the shovel into the earth. Jake and Lily joined him, marveling at each mound of earth we removed. “Do you think we’ll find gold?” asked Lily loudly. Max was beside us, barking happily, as if to say, “Keep going!”, and each scoop of earth increased our anticipation, pushing us forward. The atmosphere was electrifying as we ventured deeper and deeper into the unknown.
