John, with his arms crossed, watched Max spin in circles behind his tail and, with his eyebrows raised, asked suspiciously: “Are you sure about this choice?”. I just laughed and replied: “Wait, you’ll see!”. Little by little, Max won him over; João’s stern face softened whenever he saw him trotting with his tail wagging, until he finally admitted, laughing: “Okay, he’s growing on me”.
