Ted Nugent gained notoriety in the 1960s as a guitarist with the psychedelic rock band “The Amboy Dukes.” From 1975 onward, he was able to establish a hugely prosperous solo career. He is one of the most well-known board members of the National Rifle Association and a vocal supporter of gun ownership. He is a Republican Party supporter and a conservative icon. He released the album “Detroit Muscle” in 2022.
